Plovdiv with 4 new Shopping Centers

Plovdiv continues to be one of the most favorable places for youth and business development in Bulgaria. According to social and economic analysts, the city under the hills has the fastest pace in the country in terms of influx of young people, investment in real estate and the opening of new jobs. Proof of this is the forthcoming opening of two new large shopping centers. One of the Mall’s will open this autumn. The construction of the other complex is about to begin soon. So by 2020, Plovdiv will have a total of 4 Mall’s. According to preliminary views, September is the month in which Plovdiv residents and guests of the city will welcome their new Plovdiv Plaza Mall.

It is located on the site of the former Galleria shopping center and has been completely renovated. Three floors of commercial space, modern office spaces and parking for 1300 cars will be at the customer’s disposal. Plaza mall promises to offer world brands that will be the first time on the Plovdiv market. After the exceptional success of the Paradise Center Mall and the Serdika Center in Sofia, the owner of the sites will open its own shopping center in Plovdiv.

The South African company New Europe Property Investments (NER) has already bought a land of approximately 150,000 sq. M. in the area of Stochna gara. The investment in the complex will reach 150 million euros. Under the project, the new Mall will be on four floors and will surprise with attractive retail space, many restaurants, entertainment locations and cinema. The shopping centers are famous all over the world, entertainment meet and a variety of selections. Also a special open-air terrace will show the most spectacular views of Plovdiv.

The start of the fourth MALL in Plovdiv will be in 2020. With the opening of the site, more than 1500 new jobs will be created at once. The city’s unemployment rate will drop down within days of the opening, the municipality announced.
