The “St. Cyril and Methodius” school was officially declared a high school in 1868 – the first in Bulgaria – and moved to this building, earning its name from the yellow facade. Now home to the Plovdiv Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts, it is the only old public establishment that still serves its original purpose to this day.
