Join local Salsa experts and visit a traditional club where all dancers practice and show off their moves. Your night is in safe hands with this one - you’ll be joined by a professional nightlife guide who will take you to the salsa club where a salsa instructor will be waiting for you to show you a few steps to start off your night.

Over the course of an hour you will learn the basics of a Colombian Salsa style. You’ll get to learn a little bit about the history and origin of the dance and enjoy few drinks. From there you will get to practice your new steps alongside local dancers for about 2 hours and enjoy exclusive music from old collectors that have dedicated their lives to salsa music. This will be more than just a party experience - you’ll get to see how the locals of our city like to spend their off days enjoying a little bachata, kizomba, merengui and more. Salsa’s roots are based on different genres such as Cuban Son and Puerto Rican rhythms. However, as it is also a genre of music, it is open to extemporization, and thus continuously evolving.

The modern salsa styles are linked to and named after the unique geographic areas from where they evolved. There are often practitioners of each of these styles outside of their home land. Characteristics that may identify a style includes basic steps, timing, foot patterns, body rolls and movements, attitude, turns and figures, dance influences and the way the partners hold each other.
